Happy Birthday Hermann Hesse
I know it might be silly to acknowledge the birthday of a dead person, but how can I not acknowledge the man that wrote:
“Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.”
So with that, to Hermann Hesse, you are more than just a party discussion about the proper pronunciation of your name. Not only did you influence my writing but you influenced my life. Cheers.
